Look at it this way, a vote for McCain is a vote against Obama. This ensures Obama does not win the election and in 2012, opens up the door for Hillary. If
Obama wins 2008, in 2012 Hillary won't be able to challenge him and it would mean another 4 years (so 2016 now) until Hillary can run again.
And McCain picked a strong woman today to be his VP! A mother of 5, one in the military, one with downsyndrome. She was a PTA mother and she actually worked
her way to be Governer unlike Obama who has no record or accomplishments at all.
I think we can stomach 4 years of McCain in order to ensure Hillary in 2012.
After having spent most of Labor Day Weekend listening to my friends debate politics, I am convinced this is going to be the weirdest election in my
lifetime.
Well, if you're in the city you don't need a car. I didn't even learn to drive till I was 23 because I grew up in NYC. Then again, Syracuse or
Albany would be a different story!
Reply from BuffyTheThreadSlayer: Actually, no, the Jersey side, but it might as well be Manhattan in terms of sheer mileage. I'm very lucky they let me work at home almost all the time.
Is that little smiley guy looking
relieved or dancing like John Travolta in Pulp Fiction? I mean it to look relieved, especially with gas prices what they are.
Reply from BuffyTheThreadSlayer: Exit 4 here. You live not too far from my office, though. (Far is of course relative when one has to commute 100 miles to work!)
